An important organically-derived work that faithfully expresses an important component of the "Wild Injuns" set of thoughts that is infused throughout much of Lance Blitz's recorded and not-yet-recorded output, 'Western Music' combines Cowpunk, Rockabilly, Tribal, and Grunge music with a minimalistic approach. The album reflects and seeks to both reconcile and pay tribute to realistic and Western movie genre depictions of life in the Wild West. An appreciation of nature in relation to people runs throughout the work. Guitar and percussion were recorded in a mostly improvised approach in summer 2015. The tape was forgotten and then stumbled upon in late 2018. Lyrics were written in February 2019, and vocals and bass were recorded in March 2019.
