In a vein similar to 'Cat' –– but with a raw emerging punk rock demo production, the sixteen tracks that make up 'Light on the New Horizon' build upon programmed beats originating in roughly 2004-2006 with the intention to eventually build pop-rock songs upon them that would be heavily influenced by punk-meets-new-wave artists of the late seventies and the eighties, like Adam and the Ants, The Clash, Culture Club, The Damned, Bow Wow Wow, and X-Ray Spex. Primarily in early 2021, the chords/notes and lyrics were finally written upon these beats, and they were gradually recorded and mixed over the course of the following year. The riffs and licks in "When The Stars Fell Down" and "Harvest are from the late 1990s, and the lyrics from the former song are from late 2020 –– the year that inspired the words. The rest of the chords and lyrics are from February 2021. Stylistically, the music reflects diverse guitar & drum new wave forms.
